Nice little cafe on site. Really tasty quiche and salad for lunch. A variety of plants, but some looked like they needed some TLC. Also sells aquatic plants. Step free access, lots of parking and toilets.
I wanted some plants to cover my arch in the garden and not sure what would compliment the garden. I spoke to Justin member of staff and he gave excellent advice of what to buy and how to take care of them. He spent time with us happily and not grumpy unlike others! We took advice from Justin when we wanted to buy a plant a couple of years for north facing border, it’s doing great! Thankyou Justin for taking the time with us, will return as always!
It was a bright summer day when we went to Edwins garden centre. Being from India, I was not accustomed to see such a wonderful and sophisticated nursery. It was just a wonderful experience. You have separate sections for artificial plants and accessories, foliage, cacti, succulent, bonsai, citrus fruits, other fruit trees, and a huge gallery of season flowers, garden vegetables, perennial plants, fabulous English roses, shrubs, plants for hedged etc. If one wants to explore the entire store and the associated nursery systematically, it may take one full day. Compared to the fancy prices in the superstores here, the prices at this nursery were quite reasonable. There is huge parking lot, cafeteria, washrooms etc. for visitors convenience.nnThe place is excellent and highly recommendable.
I have been here to buy a bit of white grit to put in my vases at home,…, first costumer to enter in the shop!nMaybe due to my early visit the cashiers were a bit lazy can’t be bothered to help and give right answer specially the employee who till my purchase, rude and not pleasant at all .nSpent around 46£ between flowers and grits, some garden stuff a bit frustrating this visit strongly recommended the squires or the farm house in Jacob’s Well.nI will never come back to see this place.nThank you Mr. Dave for you morning rudeness you barely ruin my morning mood on the way back stooped in farm butcher in Jacob’s well have a nice coffee and sort out the last bits for my garden due to this place cannot be bothered to assist a costumer.
Visited the garden centre with our lovely residents. Excellent staff especially JustinnIt started raining heavily as our elderly residents were walking to the minibus and Justin kindly escorted them one by one to the bus and held an umbrella over them so they don’t get wet. A very kind man
