The most bland Chinese I’ve ever had! It completely lacked any flavour. The beef in black bean sauce was tasteless, there was nothing black bean about it. The beef was tough and chewy, nothing seemed fresh and all of 4 us were extremely disappointed. We had special fried rice, special chow mein, beef in black bean sauce, chips and prawn crackers. The best part of the meal was the prawn crackers. What a waste of £30.
My favourite Chinese takeout in Sheffield. I came here for the first time in March 2024 following a reel shared by my friend in London. Since then, I have kept coming back as the food is really good with good portion and good price. Mama Yu is very lovely and welcoming as well. We always have a good chat when I come to collect my food.
We came from Australia wanting to try the unique British Chinese style takeaway and we weren’t disappointed. The curry sauce is delightfully rich and mildly spicy and the salt and pepper chips were such a unique experience. The Malaysian chicken chow mein also has a punchy hit of spice for those who can tolerate the heat. Definitely recommend to get some takeaway if you pass by the area!
Really disappointed tonight by food and usually enjoy the foodnFood not warm bland and chips tasted as if they had been left out and reheatednBeef and black pepper wasn't warm and lacked flavour. Really crunchy veg and barely cooked. Salt and pepper chicken was soggy. Waited a while for it and would have rather not bothered. Twenty pounds for those items
I can honestly say this is the best Chinese I have ever had and I have tried a few in my time! You will not be disappointed. Had the curry and garlic chips, crispy shredded beef and special fried rice, just amazing! To make it even better the lady was lovely and so chatty, 10/10!!
