We have a favourite Indian restaurant which is the only one we will go to, however we were in the area tonight and decided to give this place a try. It's just as good as our favourite. Everything was fantastic, the service was great, the staff very attentive, beer fresh and cold, food superb. My husband ordered a curry which was far to spicy for him he always does and its his fault but he said it was so delicious he couldn't stop eating it. The waitress was lovely enough to bring over extra after dinner chocolates to help calm his burning mouth. The overall experience was just really really good. We will definitely be back again
Food ok, hardly amazing. Service was super slow unfortunately. Main issue I had is that the place is absolutely filthy. Floors walls doors all really dirty. I watched the staff member behind the bar pour the drip tray from the beer into somebody’s pint glass then top it up with fresh lager, absolutely inexcusable behaviour. This restaurant is very well placed and could he packed to the rafters, sadly it was way less than half full, perhaps this is why. Lots of takeaway being served mind. Will be reporting to the local food safety officer to suggest another visit, I think a 3/5 might be optimistic
Lovely place to eat! The staff are So friendly and the food is excellent we we're even given a complimentary drink and chocolate after our meal. Well done 5 star's for caring Food: 5/5

We used to eat hear all of the time, but stopped becasue the food had gone down hill and the poor hygiene rating, tried the restaurant again for the first time in a long time today and was happy with the improvements, food was lovely, and served in a timely manner, with great service from the staff, the restaurant smells nice and is alot cleaner than previously, we can see the great effort the restaurant has made to make it better, and will be coming hear again.

Sorry for this review as this is the usual Indian takeaway that we have. Good starters and sides. But a very tasteless and bland veg Bhuna, full of Aubergine and little of anything else, including sauce. If we were dining in I would have definitely sent this back. Usually very good. Hope if we order again from here it will be much better, not sure we will though sorry
Went to this restaurant last night just after 6pm and was surprised how busy it was. We got a table ok though. Started with poppadoms and the usual sauces that go with it. Onion Baji and chicken chat for starter. Lamb korma and lamb jalfrezzi with pilau rice, chunky chips, and peshwari naan for the main. Wow. Everything we had was so tasty. The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Service was spot on as well. Chocolate mint and brandy after which we did not expect, nice touch. Very busy during our stay and loads for home delivery as well.
