Amazing service! I called to ask for wool recommendations then I ordered the wrong amount, I got a call back and she walked me through how much I needed. All my wool arrived so quickly. Can't wait to visit the shop in person!
I ordered some Scheepjes chunky monkey from Winnie’s a couple of days ago and it just arrived , it is just a beautiful quality . I love to knit with Aran weight wool buts it’s really difficult to get nice colours but Scheepjes have a fantastic range of colours , absolutely delighted with the wool , will definitely be ordering from Winnie’s again Wish it wasn’t a 3 hour drive from my house to Winnie’s cafe
Great selection. Brilliant service and help. Great coffee and muffins too.
Fabulous how you treat your customers in these hard times. Thanks so much I could buy me a proper cappuccino to go along with the tiny knitting needles. This is service with a big smile.
Great in store service! Extremely friendly and helpful. Great selection as well. Unfortunately, I did not find their click and collect service as pleasant, thus the 4 star rating. Ordered first thing in the morning, and received an email conformation saying I could collect anytime during opening hours. I decided to pick it up a half hour before closing, and was told that order was not ready and confirmation was not sent. I was told to come back another day, before they finally old me to wait 10 minutes to get my order together. In store shopping is definitely more efficient with much better service! Final complaint would be their limited opening hours. incredibly difficult to drop by if you're working full time!
I just love visiting the woolwagon which has a nice atmosphere and is very welcoming. The cafe attached is also nice to stop for a bite to eat or drink. In all and whether you are a wool.etc person or not, it's worth a visit for a cuppa or a bite to eat.
Winnie's Cafe in Booterstown, Co. Dublin is usually a very popular spot for lunch. Reasonably priced and good food. However, my last visit it seemed to be closed or operating on a takeaway basis, I wasn't sure. Attached to a fabulous craft shop where you can buy lots of supplies for many crafts such as knitting, crochet etc. I look forward to being able to shop and dine indoors again, soon.
Was always a great fan of the cafe and am so sad that the cafe is only open for take away service . Any news on when the cafe will be open.I note that the post office has closed what a shame as he gave such a personal service. I am not a knitter! but always received a friendly welcome.PLEASE. REOPEN!!! GrainneDavitt Dublin 4
Well worth a visit. I loved the array of wools in particular for which we travelled from Dun Laoghaire and which I will do again at the drop of a needle. We finished our visit with a delicious blueberry muffin and tea.
Been here a few times. Fantastic selection of wools and accessories. Very friendly and helpful staff. We managed to get there before twelve for the breakfast menu today and was not disappointed with the food. Lovely cafe attached to the wool shop for something substantial to eat or just a quick coffee and scone. It gets very busy but we always manage to get a table without waiting too long. Its always nice to browse in the shop while you wait. Its an Aladdin's cave for those of us who love creating with hooks and needles. One of our favourite places to date.
