Story

Winkworth have been selling exclusive London and country property since 1835. Our original Head Office was located in Curzon Street, Mayfair, with a country office in Brighton. Our main business involved selling residential property to an exclusive client list and letting houses in Mayfair to the landed gentry for 'the season'.

Of course, things are very different today. Society has changed and so has Winkworth. Our network now has over 80 independently owned and operated offices. Over 50 offices are located in prime central London and greater London locations, established country offices are located across the UK and rapid expansion into exclusive international markets has moved at pace in recent years.

As a name synonymous with prime UK residential real estate, Winkworth has become the obvious choice for both UK and international buyers and sellers.

Mathieu Grimaldi is really professional and enthusiastic with his job! He assisted us with renting a great place in Fitzrovia. He helped us resolve many issues during the whole letting process, and his response is always quick, concise and to the points. He also offered some great suggestions on how to choose the right utility offers from his own experiences, which is very friendly to new renters like us.

I can only recommend Jamie Barry as a letting agent! I have just signed my contract for an apartment that encompasses everything I have been looking for. When the sale on my investment property fell through Harriet stepped in and found a tenant to move in very quickly, which was just what I needed as there was still mortgage and service charge payments required on a monthly basis, resulting in  negative cashflow. Harriet got three offers within a couple of days, we discussed the merits of each and went ahead with the person who subsequently moved in. A very quick and professional service, I'd strongly recommend Harriet and her colleauges at Winkworths Oxford Street Branch.

Harriet in rentals was excellent, professional, proactive and an absolute pleasure to deal.  We got the property we wanted which wouldn't have happened if Harriet hadn't been so on the ball.  Thank you and I hope we work together again soon.  In general I highly recommend this office, having dealt with Natasha in Rentals and Rod in Sales - all excellent at their jobs, a really first class service.
