If you've ever wanted to get up close and learn more about birds of prey, then this tour is the best opportunity you'll have. Lewis is an incredibly passionate and dedicated conservationist, and it really shows in his care and relationship with the birds. You will have the chance to witness them in a natural setting and learn more about the advocacy that is needed to restore these habitats and re-introduce the white-tailed eagle to other parts of the UK. We were able to meet Tracey Harris's Hawk, Rupert Saker Falcon, Florence White-Tailed Eagle, Twizzle African Harrier Hawk, and Willow Tawny Owl.nnAs an added bonus, we had fantastic conversations with Lewis for hours and felt like we made a new friend on this unique adventure. My husband and I have talked about this experience repeatedly over the past few weeks and how it was hands down our favorite part of our UK vacation. Thank you again to Lewis for an amazing time!
Fabulous day out with Lewis flying some amazing birds one to one with him.nnBooked the half day experience and it was fantastic- flying a total of five birds, all of the time handling them, flying to your hand and feeding them.nnLewis is a passionate and knowledgeable host which makes for a good and interesting day out. The birds are absolutely stunning and look very well looked after.nnAll of this set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons- absolutely stunning.nnDon't hesitate and just book this experience- however make sure you wear decent footwear as the terrain can get a little rugged!
We had a truly wonderful time on our experience with Lewis! I don't think you'll get a more personal experience anywhere else. It was very educational and interactive, and it's clear he has immense care and respect for the birds. I would recommend this tour highly to anyone who can make it to the area!
Incredible experience and day out in the Beacons with Lewis. Flew Pedro and Tracey the harris hawks to glove, watched Rupert the falcon stoop in from 1300 ft to lure and probably most memorable, was the sight and feeling of Florence the white tailed eagle coming into land majestically for a feast of quail on the glove.nnLewis is passionate for the birds, the land and the enrichment of the whole experience. It was clear that he takes great care of the birds - the bond he has with the birds was impressive. He also gave us numerous recommendations of the local area and of places in the UK to watch wildlife, in particular birdlife.nnI'm already planning a trip back to the Beacons - Thanks again Lewis and team!
Amazing falconry experience in Wales. Lewis is the perfect host and the boys haven't stopped talking about it. Great value for money and the perfect learning experience for the whole family.
