Absolutely fabulous staff here, I went about a month ago an a lovely lady and a very polite gentleman helped my son and I get all his camping gear for the Duke of Edinburgh award. They really aided in getting us the right items, explaining to us about how things work, best budget buys and reminding us of items we may have forgotten. They did not push us to buy more or expensive items and they let my son try everything on. He walked around in his boots to check if he was comfortable. Thankyou very much. This is local to us, brilliant car park and a pleasure to visit.
I wanted a pair of walking boots but was very disappointed as there was only a few pairs of size 10's in the whole place, none of which I fancied. I mentioned to a member of staff that there was no size 10 he simply laughed...very weird.
Each and everything available here like bikes, cycle, camping, drifting, hiking, hunting sports products etc I suggest every one who has adventured nature must visit here the quality of products is so good but price of things little higher because they sale brand products.
wonderful and helpful staff ,my little Staffordshire bull terrier had a little accident when someone made a fuss of her while my mrs was shopping, I asked a member of staff for some tissues to mop up and she came back with a mop and bucket and cleaned up the spot for me above and beyond thank you so much . ps the Mrs got what she wanted
I’m really concerned that the team at Winfields Outdoors don’t understand how the Consumer Rights Act works. After 12 days, 26 emails back and forth and 2 phone calls, they agreed to let me return the awning I bought from them. But instead of accepting the item as “not as described” under the Consumer Rights Act, they insisted they would only accept it as an “unwanted item”, meaning I had to pay the postage. Postage on a 25kg awning including insurance was £50.50, so not a small sum. Winfields Outdoors also stated in their email: “It isn't something we are prepared to discuss further with the manufacturers.” This is ridiculous, because the issues I raised are exactly the sort of issues you’d raise with the manufacturer. To clarify, I provided them with significant information to show the awning I received was “not as described” and included photo evidence. For example: 1. They were selling the 2024 model of the awning, but the production date on my awning was June 2022 2. My awning had triangular supports on the corners of the awning that were not present in the photos on their website 3. The door to the awning bedroom was light grey, and not dark grey as in the photos on their website a relevant difference when thinking about sleeping when camping. There are so many online sellers of camping gear. Please shop with someone else.
Went there for a camping chair and got a good steady one I like. There is a lot for hiking and camping. Only the tent display outside has about 100 tents to choose from. Good parking and big indoor area, so there is plenty of space for everyone.
Hi I went there looking for a camping light and ended up buying so much more. It was very quiet and a great time to shop wed morning Good selection of air tents and a great deal of outdoor clothes and equipment you need and some you just want to buy. I will be going back
This place has literally two side's . As you approach the store via the eminence free car park, on the left you have the half that sells fashion including kids clothes, an enormous foot wear department, again including kids shoes. There is also a large selection of work ware, and perhaps most importantly the cafe. Good choice of meals and snacks, and a fascinating motor cycle museum, which certainly brings back memories to me. On the opposite side is the camping and out door department. Loads of choice form hiking boots and socks, to out door clothing and camping assesories. At the far end of this department is a large outside area with a large display of tents and more assesories. Prices are very competitive and staff are very helpfull. Well worth a visit.
Good range of products, keenly priced. Far cheaper than Boundary Mill, Ena Mill, Botany Bay. Also a very interesting Motor cycle collection. Excellent if your a camper.
Lots of bargains, well worth a visit. There's a Motorcycle display, lots of classics, even got a Carl Fogarty bike there.
