Great Sunday carvery. Wonderfully tasty food with more than ample portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Once I commented my love of gravy, a gravy boat appeared at the table in addition to what I'd already poured on the plate. That was a lovely thought.Food: 5/5
Big portions, good variety, including some old fashioned liver and onion with mash and hot beef sandwich with roasties and gravy . Plus a Specials board. Friendly staff, easy parking but on gravel so bit more difficult for wheelchair or Zimmer users.
First time visiting this establishment. But not the last. Really fancied a roast dinner, wow it was amazing. All cooked fresh great choices. Would I recommend it? Most definitely. Will I go again? can't wait to go again. Really good value for money very attentive staff. An old truck driving haunt from 35 years ago, the place has changed a bit but certainly for the better. Staff were polite, food arrived quickly. I had ham, egg and chips, very good it was too. With a cup of tea was just over £8, which I thought to be very reasonable. Weather outside was cold bit the café was warm.Food: 4/5
Not been here for a while, previously a glorified canteen, but now there is a definite atmosphere, which is a great improvement. Menu was good, with enough variety to please all but the most fussy. Lovely welcome from the staff and prompt service at lunchtime, all for a reasonable price. Worth a visit
First visit to Windy Ridge and certainly won't be the last. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and great staff. The food was delicious a well cooked traditional Sunday Roast. The desserts were to die for. I couldn't decide as there were so many to choose! AmazingFood: 5/5
Handy little stop-off if you're travelling in Cornwall. The young staff are friendly and the food is good too. They have gluten and dairy-free options, which is rare in a chippy. The cakes in the cabinet looked good, but alas we couldn't eat them with our intolerances. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten and dairy free options.
We were there at 11.30..Could only have breakfast so haven't eaten anything else there. Staff friendly. Very reasonable prices. Good service. Good parking. Easy to find. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps from car park into restaurant. Disabled facilities
I very highly recommend this place. The taste of the food was Amazing. The best carvery I have tested.. The parsnips was delicious you can taste the honey and The Roast potatoes. The swede, gravy the flavours. Choice of options of meats Pork , beef and Turkey.. £8.95 for small which to me was still a good size plenty for me. £11.95 for standard size. £16 Large. They had two cabinets with the Amazing display of cakes and deserts. They do lots of various main meals. Breakfasts . Open everyday.. Large car park . Indoor and outdoor seating.. Views looking over the country side .. A bar Area.. Hot and cold beverages Ladies and gents Toilets. Wheelchair friendly.. Newly furnished. Love this place.
The food is excellent and the staff are nice. The decor is a little odd, better than it was. It's good value and they do a mean burger. Portions are brilliant for the price of the meal. Kid-friendliness: It has a play park and it's safe. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and wide doors. The restaurant is on one level.
