We booked the King room with garden view, it was really spacious and a good price.nThere was a kettle, tea and coffee provided along with towels, toilet paper, free WiFi, hair dryer and a Tv with Netflix and YouTube.nAccess to the room was simple, no reception but a key safe and code given to you before arrival.nAny issues we had with getting into the room was sorted out quickly via phone call with the owner.nWe were really pleased with our stay and would definitely be back again. Nice hotel for a few nights stay :
I can only describe this place as shabby. The front door had obviously been damaged and repaired but hadn't been repainted. Our room was next to the front door, facing out onto the main street. There were no curtains or blinds in the bathroom. My husband was outside after moving the car and although the windows were opaque, he could clearly see me getting off the toilet. We ended up hanging the bath towels in the windows to give us a bit of privacy. There were 2 of us staying, but only 1 cup provided. The standard of finish in the room was dreadful. The only good point was that the bed was comfortable and the bedding smelled fresh. The location was convenient for the ferry port
Fantastic stay in the garden room, had the best sleep with the bed being so comfortable. Easy instructions on how to get in and was also very clean.
Don't stay here. The front door looked like a drug raid had taken place. No reception, all done on keybox codes. Tiny weeny single room. Bed narrow and uncomfortable. Clean ish. Toilet all wobbly and sink too tiny to fill kettle. Felt like a half way house for recovering addicts. Didn't feel safe. Shower, telly and wifi all ok. Wasn't actually that cheap. Slim pickings in Stranraer.
Very easy to find the place and instructions were given to enter.nGood impression, cleanliness at high standard and comfortable to stay overnight.nIt has a service with a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar and soaps for the shower. A pack of towels and a very good size for a bedroom and bathroom.nComfortable bed and no noise from outside.
