Traditional English pub, great food, good selection of ales, lovely beer garden and very friendly staff. Live bands weekly. Parking can be difficult at times.
We hired the function room for a family party, staff were excellent catering was good value too. Definitely worth considering if you want a party venue for up to 50 people or so.
Shepherd Neame pub without any Shep Neame cask ale and the barman had no explanation. 3 guest beers were on. Pub was fairly empty.
Lovely little pub with a lovely garden. Staff are really friendly, beer is really good and very decently priced.
Thank you so much to Dan & his staff for the fab service last minute you pulled together a great buffet at short notice for our Mums funeral wake Would highly recommend! Thank you again
We really enjoyed it, it had a relaxed atmosphere and served St Austell Brewery Tribute, couldn't be better!
Lived in the Sutton area for more than 35 years and first time visiting this pub in all these years and I've got to say what a lovely traditional pub, friendly staff and very helpful in every way possible! to accommodate me and my wife with excellent service
I used to drink in the Windsor all the timecwhen Dave Stott managed it in the 1990s. An extremely popular real ale pub then. Not quite so now, but holding its own. I went there with my uncle who was holidaying from Canada. He wanted to catch some local live music. Hmm. Good ales but only two of them. Nice atmosphere. Feels a bit like a locals' pub, which it sort of always has been. People who appeared to be customers kept walking behind the bar. There's a big garden and a covered stable yard long disused for good weather and smoking. A live band was playing various types of blues / rock which is a regular theme on Saturdays. No one was dancing though.
No sign of it still being a Shep Neame pub A few empty cask pumps and a couple of reasonable beers on
Lovely pub sun trap however roast was not as good as expected lacked flavour and took a while to come out but would still come back for the garden and Lovely staff and welcome thank you
