We recently had blinds fitted in the lounge and bedroom. After we had ordered them I saw some of the bad reviews and got very worried - even though Mohammed had turned up on time and was very professional and friendly. Anyway I needn't have worried our blinds were fitted on time, efficiently and we are very pleased with them. We did mention the bad reviews and I think a while ago they had problems for several reasons but these have been addressed. When we want more blinds we will use them again.
If only you could give someone 0 stars - company is an absolute disgrace. Firstly, the gentleman didn't come on the day we expected for fitting, promised we would get blinds on Thursday 2 days after measuring, then we didn't hear anything for days. Fair enough we didn't hear anything over Christmas, but afterwards my husband chased with numerous texts and calls until eventually we heard from the man to say he had issues with supplier why not tell us this in the first instance?! and that we would have them fitted DEFINITLY by Wednesday. Surprise surprise Wednesday came along and we heard NOTHING. Then, after more calls/texts, he promised they would be fitted earliest Friday, latest Monday. It's now Tuesday and we still have no blinds - not to mention not hearing anything from him despite calls/texts again. We've been ripped off £70 deposit and were due to have blinds for our baby's nursery which he knew! Terrible terrible customer service - avoid this company and don't fall for the handful of good reviews left. Will be telling everyone I know to avoid and go elsewhere ! We tried to be patient and give chances but we lost trust after so many false promises. It doesn't take much to drop a text to give us an update. Please avoid company at all costs !
Absolutely disgusting service. I've waited in three or four times for them to just not turn up. The blinds are ok, but now have an issue where Some are longer than others, yet to be fixed as I can't get in touch with the company! Still waiting for my living room blinds to be fitted, I've lived in my new property over a month and they're still not finished. My advice: do not use this company, whilst friendly to your face, the service you don't see is pretty much nonexistent.
We have used Blinds by Fara on several occasions. We have always found the company friendly and helpful. The blinds are of good quality at excellent prices. They have a good choice of fabrics, colours and designs. We even ordered an extra blind for our kitchen just before Christmas and this was ready within a few days. Would definitely use again.
DO NOT use this company, I wouldn't even call it a company. They have a shop as a front, no one is ever there so you can't contact them after they've done the home visit and taken your deposit because they block your number. I'm just glad I only gave them a £50 deposit. I've only ever spoken to the sales person once after the deposit was taken and he told me the blinds would be ready on the 16th of January but obviously a lie because my number was blocked again, hope they enjoy the £50.
TRADING STANDARDS AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A perfect, professional company until they have your deposit!!!!!!! Waited weeks for my blinds to be fitted after giving £100 deposit. Blinds eventually turned up to be fitted after chasing them and phoning every day for two weeks. Low quality, wasn't what we were expecting and sagging in the middle. Asked for a deposit refund to which we were told no problem, will be with you in a couple of days. Nearly a month on and the cheque is still 'in the post'. I am still pursuing a refund and will be until I receive one!! PLEASE AVOID FARAS BLINDS AND BLINDS 4 U. IT'S THE SAME SET OF COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This business is the worst I have ever dealt with.They never kept any appointments either to measure up or to come and fit the blinds.I rang them countless times and they always had an excuse. After making two appointments to come and fit the blinds and several telephone calls I decided to wait until they got in touch .I gave them every opportunity to come and fit them or get in touch but after several days I decided to go and ask for my deposit back at which time I was told that they had been trying to get in touch with me all day. At this point things turned very nasty. and needless to say I did not get back my deposit. Stay away from this shop is my advice.
Literally the worst business I have ever dealt with. Had to constantly keep chasing them up. They took over 3 weeks from the date they said they would fit them, its been 3 months and theres still two windows that need blinds fitting. Always had an excuse for delaying and to top it off the blinds they fitted are absolutely crap, he might talk the talk to you but when it comes to the product and service it is the worst. Don't fall for these scammers AVOIDD!!!
I've been ringing you, texting you regarding the blinds i bought from you. As you were informed on the day that you fitted them, there are several problems and I requested you removing them and a refund. You have STILL not contacted me and it is now NINE days later. URGENT.
Very very disappointed as when i got my blinds fitted they came at 10 pm at night the guy who fitted them was very rude and moody also i asked for all cream colour blinds and i got some white and some cream it doesnt look good at all, been nearly a week since i tried to contact them they say they will be here but never turn up. Worst customer service ever! I wouldnt recommed them.
