Visited while having a mini-break at the Haven holiday park ... The plain special fried rice is a little bland & the potions are on the small side a rice or noodle dish will only serve 2 people so just be aware but they were minor things the food was hot mostly well cooked & tasty .Food: 4/5
I love Chinese food , by far my favourite . Fair price , around £10 per person . The staff was very friendly and welcoming . Rice had very little salt you definitely won’t be getting up at 1 am gasping for water chow mein was very oily , my satay sauce was horrendous, just plain oil STAY AWAY , if u like me and love satay sauce just pour the oil out , it’s edible then . Prawn crackers were decent According to my kids , pork balls were a bit bland but not grease so win win . Would eat there again if I was in the area but wouldn’t go out of my way for it .
Our second visit to The windmill. It was incredibly busy with just one member of staff taking orders. She dealt extremely well with a rude customer she tried very hard to get all meals out and dealt with the pressure very well. Very nice young lady. Food was delicious, warm and good portion sizes.
The ribs have bare chunky bits in it and it tastes dead not gonna lie
Ordered takeaway and was quoted 1 hour delivery. 90 minutes later still no delivery called premises and told busy and that 90 minutes was the current Time. Had we known that would not have gone ahead. Food eventually arrived which was good. Told driver not happy with service not his fault but to pass on our views to owner. Later my wife got a call no apology offered and told use another premise in future. So rude we will never use windmill again. Totally no customer service
Only problem I have with this takeaway is the length of time it takes to actually get your food. I went in just after 7pm on a Friday but had to wait an hour and a quarter for my food and it was only three items from the menu. I had expected it to be busy but still thought that was a long wait, especially as there didn't seem to be a huge number of drivers going in and out
