Really nice Breakfasts here, good quality food, I had a set 1. 2 bacon and 1 sausage, 1 egg and tinned tomatoes and lots of chips with bread and apple juice for £7.80. Really yummy decent food, and just the right amount, best around Hemel Hempstead, on busy days parking can be difficult, will definitely come back.
Visited the café twice for breakfast when staying nearby. It proved to be very popular on the Sunday morning and was quite busy, even at 9.30. The food and drinks were pleasant and good value, service good and staff friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and free as it faces onto the Queen's Square car park. There were a few small tables out front so it is possible to sit outside. Recommended.
We both had a very nice meals at this cafe. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend that you pop in if you’re in the area :.
Food is not great and neither was Service. don’t eat the veggie sausages they are very weird in flavour and have rice in them for some reason. The tomatoes are canned and just gross. If you’re really hungry and on the go I guess this place could be okay
Over priced for what you get. Cutlery and glass dirty. Queing people watching you eat is off putting also. Definitely prefer the cafe at bennetts end.
Although I ordered near closing time and they were really busy. The staff was friendly, service great, wait time short and food was Delicious. What more is there to say, apart from " I'll be back" Food: 5/5
Lovely food, very friendly staff, lots on offer. Shame they close so early I could easily have their food for dinner too. Highly recommended and we'll defo visit again
Lovely cafe, come here almost weekly surg my son for a milkshake but also had their breakfast which is lovely. They are often busy and there's always people in. Staff are great.Food: 5/5
Parking- great Staff- good Food - mediocre. The quality of sausage served is the worst I had with any breakfast I had. Price - too much for the quality. The place has a good vibe, good location, good staff. Just get better ingredients and you are set.
The Windmill is a great place. Busy but for a reason. Fantastic food and staff. So much choice. Great place , my new No1
