Nigel and his fantastic team kept us all going through lockdown. Nothing is too much trouble for them and everyone is so cheerful and helpful. I applied for my passport at the height of the passport office problems and received it in under 3 weeks! I can’t praise them highly enough we would be lost without them. Windermere Post Office is a major player for locals and tourists alike.
As a local resident in Windermere I use the Post office regularly. Nigel is always happy to help and have a bit of banter. The staff are happy and good at what they do. Nigel and his fantastic team ALWAYS go above and beyond to help. The customer service you receive is always excellent and the team are always happy to help. During lockdown Nigel battled on through and stayed open every day. Windermere post office isn't just a post office but a treasure trove of wonderful stuff from postcards to greeting cards to toys, kids activity books, collectable coins, passport and driving license applications, pens, paper, envelopes and a whole lot more! The team are always happy and cheerful and always have answers for your questions! Highly recommended!!
Nigel and his team at Windermere post office are central to the smooth running of life in Windermere...they are not only a post office but also bank, passport checkers, smoother of problems, gift shop, information on the local area and everything in between to both locals and visitors... fabulous service and always cheery ... even when things are a bit fraught, they have time to be cheerful, friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful... the post office is small and perfectly formed ... be kind to those who work in it... without them we would be lost and would have to go to great lengths to find the service they provide under one roof. Got a Travel Card yesterday afternoon. Nigel was amazing and dealt with everything so competently and efficiently. Not that I was surprised - Nigel and his team are ALL amazing and give great service.
Fantastic post office in the middle of windermere. Very helpful and extremely friendly service from stamps to passports, to money exchange to banking and more. It's the ONLY post office to go to in the area that's for sure.
Used to be very good, friendly and helpful, but over the last few months, the guy who works here has lost his way. Faffing about in the back when there are 6 or 7 people queueing, even when his colleague tells him they have a queue, he keeps hiding and faffing. Tired of waiting endlessly while his colleagues do their best and he pretends customers aren't waiting. Won't be using this post office anymore. Bowness post office is both friendly and efficient. And Burneside church has a post office service on Monday Wednesday and Fridays. I'll take my business there in future.
