It's a massive cathedral with gothic architecture and a vast history. If you go up on the top floor of the exhibition inside, they even play some music and mass recorded from centuries ago. They also have tours for The Crypt and you may have to ask the staff for that.nnThe cathedral is beautiful from inside and it has some fine chapels, it may take about 1-2 hours to see everything. Dont miss the services or the evensong they have almost everyday. That's the best experience.
I went to the Helios exhibition today. It was fantastic £13 online gets you an annual pass which also includes the tours.nThe art installation was epic though the music didn’t do it for me.nSpent lots of time looking around this wonderful cathedral with its hidden nooks and followed the timeline of architectural changes.nShout out to Jeanie who was our most knowledgeable guide. Proper BBC voice too nI’d definitely recommend and I’ll also be back soon.
Just lovely! Joined a free guided group tour and our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the cathedral. So many interesting artefacts inside: Jane Austin, a deep sea diver and Anthony Gormley! Ticket is valid for a year, so great value too! Will definitely be back.
