Stunning famous cathedral, great architecture with lots of history and it's iconic statue of King Aurthur. Would recommend to all those who like the history of England. Jane Austen's grave. Free guided tours fills you with history worth it, poured by very knowledgeable volunteers. We had a lovely day, definitely visiting again in summer, hopefully scaffolding has been taken off if they finished renovation. Accessible by wheelchair users. Adult £8 entry fee. Free entry on Sundays but no guided tours. Good coffee shop & gift shop. Parking is reasonable.

A really iconic place which is filled with the lives of our important predecessors. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable and tours are free. Admission is reasonable and tickets good for a year. Lovely refectory and gift shop too. Really nicely located in historic Winchester

Beautiful cathedral. I went there on Christmas day. The streets are filled with energy and joy. I was glad I experienced that vibe. Then I got into the building. It has lots of interesting art and wall designs that look amazing. Big space both vertically and horizontally. I like to go there again.

The cathedral is located among other beautiful, historic buildings in a quiet part of the city and is well worth visiting. My only gripe would be the entry/annual pass fee. I suppose visitors to the city would expect it but I find it off-putting; I usually find I've mislaid my slip of paper if I have a few minutes to drop in and enjoy the surroundings so I don't bother. I visit Salisbury far less often but can enjoy the cathedral without paying. I make a voluntary donation every time I go to Salisbury so I suspect that cathedral earns much more from me than Winchester without even trying.

A very interesting tour given by 2 very knowledgable people Mary and Gerry. The cathedral is much bigger than it looks from the outside. We would pick the coldest day of the year to visit. But well worth it.
