A small but very interesting museum dedicated to Winchelsea, the smallest town in England. Staffed by volunteers who are residents of the town. They a very knowledgeable and extremely welcoming and helpful.
The town of Winchelsea is unique and a recommended visit when in East Sussex. The museum sheds light on the history of the town and is located in a historic building itself.
Small but lots of interesting things to look through and do. I would recommend anyone visiting the Rye or Hastings area to go. Showing a few local antiquities and details o the coastline movement over the past few hundred years.
Very easy to get to the core information. Be warned stone steps up to the museum room.
