I have lived in the Fraserburgh area for two years and finally managed to visit. I could not bring myself to eat a wimpy on a china plate with a knife and fork, so I decided to do a takeout and have it on the beach. Yes, the seating is looking a bit tired, and yes, it is expensive, but it all looks spotless, and the bugger was bloody lovely. Will happily go back.
Had a take out from here. Fast efficient service from a fairly youngish crew.nBurgers were well made and tasted great.nRestaurant looked clean and tidy and other sit in diners looked happy with their meals.nPrices were reasonable too..on par with other fast food establishments, the difference at Wimpy is you get a knife and fork to eat your meal with and table service.n10/10 and would highly recommend for anyone in Fraserburgh looking for a good sit in or takeaway.
Ordered a Wimpy Grill, cheeseburger and coke float. Delicious. Friendly service. It was quiet. Always wanted to visit. Only few remaining restaurants in Scotland. Will definitely be back.
Wimpys good is fantastic. Great chips amazing burgers and best bit is compared to places like McDonald's the wimpy fills you for most of the day. Special sauce is also a must with your food. It's a little expensive so we go as a treat and we always enjoy it
Takes me back to my childhood when Wimpy was everywhere and was a nice treat to try it again. The food was fresh and tasty. Slightly more expensive than comparable fast food restaurants but better quality than those so worth paying extra. The young staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant was kept extremely clean and tidy especially with the number of customers in and out. Its not often these days that I find myself commenting on really good service/hospitality skills but this team should be really proud of themselves. Will definitely be back and would recommend if you're in the area.
