Cute little model village, with a sensory garden, small mini golf, model trains and 1950 memorabilia. Plus a nice little tea shop with clean accessible toilets. There's also a children's play area. We didn't stay long about 45 minutes, but you easily stay a bit longer if you play mini golf and eat in the tea shop.
I love visiting model villages around the country. I already visited a few and this one is one of my favorite. It’s quite small but there’s a lot of details to see so you can stay for an hour or more. You can even watch inside the windows to see the life of the miniature people. It’s so cute! And they also have a small museums with doll houses and railways.
Beautiful venue with lots to keep youngsters entertained. Ticket can be reused for entry for a year after purchase which is extremely considerate. Have been 3x already. On our most recent visit we had waffles and sandwiches in the cafe. All food was really tasty, service was also good.
First visit here.nHad a great morning exploring the village. Kids enjoyed finding the items on the sheet and story time in the kids play area.nModel railway set up is awesome.nnCertainly recommend a visit.
Lovely day out at the model villagenWe had a great day out at the model village with four friends. When you pay for your tickets, you get a year’s free entry, which is a nice bonus.nThe village itself was very impressive — all the shops and houses had detailed rooms with miniature people and furniture inside. The cathedral even had its own scene, and there was a hand-built model railway where you could press buttons to move the trains and other models.nThere’s also a café and a shop on site.nWe spent a wonderful couple of hours there — a great place for families and well worth a visit!
