I recently completed a course of physiotherapy at Wimbledon Physio under the care of Antonia Patrick, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience and the outcome. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I felt like I was in good hands. I had been suffering from two slipped discs and severe sciatica, which left me in so much back pain that I could barely sit or stand for more than ten minutes at a time. The situation was becoming unbearable, and I was desperate for relief. Antonia took real care in understanding my pain and the impact it had on my daily life. She spent a considerable amount of time evaluating my condition, something I had not experienced with other physiotherapists in the past. Many times before, I felt like previous physios would rush through appointments and provide generic treatments without truly getting to the root cause of my pain. This was not the case with Antonia. She was incredibly thorough in her assessment, asking detailed questions and listening attentively to my descriptions of the pain and its triggers. Her dedication to understanding my condition made all the difference. Each session felt personalised and tailored to my specific needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Throughout the course of my treatment, I felt that Antonia was genuinely invested in my recovery. She was always encouraging and provided a variety of exercises and techniques that gradually alleviated my pain. The progress was remarkable. When I first came in, I was struggling to manage even basic activities, but by the end of my treatment, I was nearly at 100%. I can't recommend Antonia enough. Her expertise and genuine care for her patients set her apart from others in her field. If I ever encounter any other issues in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to see her again.
I started sessions with Antonia after moving myself into my new flat. She took great care in assessing my back problems, and also gave me exercises to do daily to supplement my treatment. My partner had terminal cancer soon afterwards, and she did her best to help alleviate her symptoms, and was very gentle and kind to us both throughout that period. A lovely lady and highly recommended.
I had such a great experience at Wimbledon Physiotherapy Clinic! When I suddenly developed severe back pain they squeezed me in for a last minute appointment. Niamh was lovely and I always looked forwards to our sessions together! My back is pain free again and I’m back to life as was with preventive exercises to help me in the future so I couldn’t recommend more
My experience with Wimbledon Physio was exceptional from the start - Niamh was the most comprehensive and attentive physio I've been treated by and made sure she took the time to completely understand my injury and fitness routine before discussing any recovery exercises. Her expertise and knowledge was very clear. I was back running pain free within a few short months and, despite moving away from Wimbledon and finishing my face to face treatment early, the exercises Niamh instructed have kept me on top form. Can't thank you enough Niamh!!!
I visited Wimbledon Physio last year when I started experiencing knee pain several weeks before the 2023 London Marathon. Unfortunately I had to defer as couldn’t run more than 500m without pain. But Jamie created a complete rehab plan for me, from plyos and strength training to eventually running again starting out at 2km which felt like SUCH a small amount. But all this gradually built me up to being able to run this years race - I loved the day, have no soreness after and even got sub 5 hours! Honestly don’t think I’d have got there without Jamie and all his support, so thank you.
Have had excellent services when using Wimbledon Physio in several capacities. Kianie has been great for sports massages, pain relief and really helpful with advice for understanding future injury prevention. Sophy has been superb as a physio for a persistent elbow issue. Her extensive knowledge combined with a pragmatic and empathetic approach has hugely assisted in my recovery and confidence levels returning to activity.
Jamie at Wimbledon Physio has been superb at assessing and supporting my recovery from injury. He set my expectations on recovery time and effort and set a programme to help me get to where I wanted. Highly recommend.
Always a good experience at Wimbledon Physio. I have regular sports massages with Kianie to keep my back, shoulders and neck in form. She is knowledgeable, listens and does a great massage.
Following a hip replacement, I started seeing Jamie in order to continue my post operative rehab. I could not be happier with my progress. Jamie was very encouraging throughout, and always checked that I was happy with what he was proposing and that I understood what I was doing and why. He was also pragmatic, providing two different exercise programmes so that I didn't get bored! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
I reached out to Wimbledon Physio after getting injured 2nd time from my ankle while playing tennis. Over time, I got to realize that was the best decision I made in a while. Jamie was super helpful and very thorough in explaining what we need to do for me to get back to competitive tennis. The challenge level of exercises gradually increased and after couple of months, Im back to where I want to be in terms of my ankle's strength and flexibility level. HUGE thanks to Wimbledon Physio and Jamie!
