What a location and set up! Strongly advise a visit during the famous summer competition. Very friendly, well structured event with endless activities. Quite expensive for a beer, but hey just do it. The walks around the smaller courts are really enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit.
We had the pleasure of watching several finals at the Wimbledon Park Tennis Courts, including the women’s singles, gentlemen’s doubles, and gentlemen’s singles. The experience was nothing short of spectacular. The atmosphere was electric, with a large, enthusiastic crowd that added to the excitement of the matches.nThe facilities were well-maintained, clean, and easily accessible, contributing to the overall positive experience. The center court is truly impressive, in pristine condition, reflecting the high standards of the Wimbledon tradition.nThe combination of the amazing atmosphere, excellent organization, and impressive facilities made it a standout event. If you have the chance to attend a match here, don’t miss it – it’s a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the world of tennis.
We visited for the Wimbledon championships. The grounds are massive but easy to get around. There are ushers and information booths all around to help you navigate your way around. One important thing yo remember is that there are no plugs to plug in your own phone charger in the public areas so you can only charge with the charging power banks that you can obtain from 4-5 different vending stations. One vending is at Walled Gardens next to the catering section. The charge is £25 for the whole day, but you will be refunded 10, will only be charged £15 after returning the power bank. You can return at any vending machine you do not have to find the same one you get it from in the first place. The bank comes with 1 short cable for iOS and another for android. If it does not charge after plugging the phone then go back and swap for another power bank you will not get charged twice. The grounds, all vendors, shoos, bars are cashless so you will not be able to pay with cash anywhere.
