Good for lunch with kids - but everybody else will be there with theirs as well

Great traditional café serving reasonably priced hot and cold food, including good pizzas, decent coffee and really nice ice-creams. The staff are always lovely too. It's no-frills but that's exactly what you want with hungry kids.

Great selection of ice cream. Nice tea. Packaged fruit cake. Good bacon sandwich. Lovely staff. Busy but you don't have to wait long.

The setting is nice, and worth coming in for an ice cream.  The food is hit and miss depending on what you order (I avoid the burgers, pizzas are good), and the coffee pretty bad.
