I am extremely disappointed with the transport service. The trams are always late, causing major inconvenience for regular commuters like myself.nnRecently, I was unfairly fined £50 despite tapping the reader, which showed a green light. The staff insisted I hadn’t bought a ticket and refused to listen to my explanation. One officer was particularly offensive and disrespectful, which was very frustrating.nnAdditionally, the payment system doesn’t accept credit cards, forcing me to juggle funds from various accounts. When I attempted to file a complaint, I was told there’s no online service and that I had to write a letter. This is unacceptable in this day and age.nnI was also accused of lying about the machine malfunction, which was embarrassing. The trams frequently leave early or stop unexpectedly for several minutes, making the service even more unreliable.nnAs a daily traveler, my experience has been consistently negative, culminating in today’s tram being almost 20 minutes late. This level of service is unacceptable and needs immediate improvement.nnTravelling on this service is like a modern day nightmare!
Even though its quick and easy good service from Wimbledon to croydon and beyond but most of times staff is very rude without thinking it’s hard times for everyone and everyone is struggling with mental health issues. Kindness is a key to work in public sector. Hope they’ll learn one day when they being treated the way they do.
A easy to access station, very convenient especially from Kingston etc…nDirections are often the 265,131 buses to Wimbledon station then the district to either Earl’s Court or Victoria depending on the running service
Busy staion. Wimbledon Broadway is right outside the station. There's a good selection of eateries as well as a wide range of shops. Just up the hill to the right is Wimbledon Village and beyond that is Wimbledon Common. Catch the fast commuter services to London Waterloo or use the terminus for the District Line and local tram services, as well as connecting to destinations in southeast and southwest London.nAnnually in June during the All England Lawn Tennis Championships, Wimbledon plays host to tennis fans+players from all over the world.
Good service. Running till late Monday to Saturday but Sunday service stops early. Trams goes towards Croydon and Beddington Lane from here. Trams runs from platforms 10 and 10A
