Beautiful house in a glorious setting. As the house is lived in you don't get to see it all. Tea shop is a bit overpriced (like most tourist venues). If you like somewhere that doesn't get too crowded this is the place to go. The Wilton garden centre is just around the corner and well worth a visit.

Beautiful! Worth every penny and I was stunned with her elegance and decor. Lots of Art on display from various artists and excellent guides to talk you through it.

Great for a day out with the family. The play area is better for bigger kids 7+ but there is areas for little ones too. Beautiful gardens and river/ stream to paddle in. I didn't go into the house on this occasion. You can buy tickets for house and or gardens. Same kind of price as national trust properties and just as nice.

Stunning historic house with beautiful and extensive gardens. The gardens are in tip top condition and are well maintained. There are lots of mature trees, planted borders, Japanese style bridges and more to explore. For children there's an excellent adventure playground with a wide variety of activities to enjoy for all ages, including tunnel slides and a mini trampoline. Picnics are allowed in the grounds and children (and adults!) can paddle in the shallow water to cool down in the summer. A great place to visit for a day.
