Family run pharmacy... They are excellent and know our 1 year old really well as we have been in so often.

Very poor customer service. Run by incompetent, insensitive and careless staff. My first experience: I went to this Chemist as it was nearby, to purchase my prescriptions mainly for my inhalers. I asked for SP57 (which is the receipt required for refund), as I was awaiting to receive my pre-paid certificate card through the post. Both the pharmacist/man and the lady at the counter acknowledged that they did not have this form, but they still processed my medication, giving me a false impression that I can claim my money back with their store receipt. I went back to the Chemist as soon as I received my prepaid NHS Card to be told by the same pharmacist/man that I can not get a refund because I don't have 'Blue receipt" (SP57). He was unhelpful and did not care or want to hear that he and his colleague had processed the prescription without the "blue receipt'. He's response was black and white careless attitude, stating, "because you do not have blue receipt, I can not refund your money, and contact PPC and see what they say". I am also a Healthcare Professional, have been for over 13yrs (which he did not know) and to receive that type of poor customer service from health professional service is absolutely disgusting. I have had better customer pharmacy experience from Tesco's and Sainsbury's for pre-paid prescriptions in the past. John Wilson Chemist staff put patients/customers at risk of unnecessary stress, costing additional fees for prescriptions and unnecessary process to claim their money back, due to their negligence. I won't be using their Chemist again. Run by useless and careless staff.

An awful customer service. The pharmacist behaves like just landed from the moon. They have no idea what they have in stock, and they are not familiar with the usual medicines. Very disappointed !
