We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Goldfinch cabin at the foot of the Mournes, and it was an absolutely magical experience. The cabin is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and we were able to truly relax and unwind. Even though the weather was not ideal, with a typical wet autumn day, the moodiness of the mountains and the coziness of the cabin made it all the more special. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our wonderful hosts, Ciara and Derek, for their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay, and we truly appreciate their efforts. We highly recommend the Goldfinch cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway, and we look forward to returning in the future.
A warm welcome from Ciara and Derek who provided excellent information about where to see around the area. We loved the cabin which was warm and cosy with a hot tub , BBQ and fire pit. Stunning scenery from the cabin and around the area. We will definitely be back!
Just back from a throughly relaxing stay in The Goldfinch cabin and thinking of my next visit already ! It was wonderful, so peaceful and quiet and the views are spectacular.nThe cabin was stunning, with everything you could possibly need provided. The design, work and style that went into the cabin was really quite impressive ! We brought our dog Monty and they even provided treats for him !nI really couldn’t say enough about it, thank you so much to Ciara and Derek for making it an unforgettable experience!
We had the most fabulous stay at Willowtree Glamping. This was our second time, we stayed in The Wrens and last year The Kingfishers although this year we may have not gotten the best weather we still made the most of our stay. We have decided we are going to come back each year and try out a different cabin because we have been so pleased with both our stays. Ciara and Derek are the loveliest hosts, so friendly and they really leave a nice personalised touch to each stay.nnOur 3 year old German Shepherd Benji had such a relaxing comfortable time also. The cabins are so cute and cosy with everything you need, It is in the perfect location and we have recommended this place to anyone we know as you are guaranteed to have the most amazing experience. We spent two nights staying in the Wren’s Lodge and we had the absolute best time! We cannot recommend this place enough. The lodge was cosy and had everything we needed , we loved sitting out the front enjoying the views of the mountains from the hot tub. Thank you to Derek and Ciara for making it a lovely honeymoon break- we hope to be back again soon!
