Had a fall and had to come here, seen reasonably quickly, x-rayed and checked over all done and left in just on 2 hours. All the nursing staff were very friendly and kind
The signage isn't very good. Ended up parking 20 minutes walk away from the area I needed and turns out there's a car park literally outside the day surgery section where I had to take my elderly Mum. There was no helpful info in the letter she'd received either so I assumed it was a straightforward affair. Guess you should never assume. The Hospital and staff were nice though.
Sent to A+E by my doctor, I arrived at 10:45 and joined the queue. During the day, I had a canula placed in my arm and a blood sample taken, I had a chest X Ray done and was moved through several waiting rooms.nAt 17:15 I saw a doctor for less than 10 minutes and was given a prescription. After another wait, I had the canula removed and was told I could go home!n7 hours, mostly spent waiting, showed me just how poorly the system is working. No one seemed busy, or in a rush and twice during my wait, my details were lost and on one occasion I was asked by a nurse if I knew why I was waiting there!
Parking was easy!! I couldn't how easy it was to access the hospital from the M20. Costa coffee Flat White was very welcome!!!
Radiology department were very helpful and well mannered,would recommended
