Fast service, friendly staff, Scotch pie was nice and peppery but sausage roll a bit oily.

Delicious delights! Very high standard of baking, and a friendly atmosphere. Has competition across the road from Harry Gow's. Some of the food excels over Harry Gow's food. Particularly good is the sausage rolls. They also have a good selection of cakes.

Still stuck in the dark ages. Despite Covid they still operate on a cash only basis. Cross the street to Harry Gows instead.

Used to get the freshest pies after the pub on the weekend by a secret knock on the back door! When it's open properly though get in early for their softies!!! Best on the planet!!!!

Still make the best jock pies ever

Bread and rolls are very good. Freeze well. Service and welcome are excellent. BUT the best bit of the bakery is the pizza and pie section . The breakfast pie is always worth a try as is the pizza.
