This place is very peaceful to go, I can get rid of my stress as soon as I step in,,it has been kept very well, when I leave the park I feel refresh with so much oxygen into my lungs Thank you
Our local park and we love it, we go at least twice a week, the playground is great for the little ones and the band stand area is perfect to play or ride bikes. We love the nature pond and looking for dragon flies and frogs! We are very lucky to have such a lovely park, the park keepers are amazing
This is a great park with lots of space, good pathways, and waterspaces. The exercise area is OK but a little tired and needs upgrading - muddy and worn surfaces. Photo included.
It used to be nicer, but seems to be unloved somewhat these days. The Friends of the park are trying their best, I'm sure, but there is an obvious lack of investment from the council, which is a shame.nPaths are becoming rough and muddy and the gardens are no longer planted.nHowever, if you live in the area, it is still a good asset to be able to get out and about, away from the busy roads.nProbably less than 1½ miles around the perimeter, but various paths through the middle that help make a bigger walk if you want one.nThe playground is okay, along with the splash pool if it ever opens in the better weather.
Beautiful place for a walk with the dog. Pretty sculptures scattered across the park. Mud free walking paths. Space for sport enthusiasts, for kids and for nature fans
