Went in to buy some reduced gardening stock. Such a shame to see it being emptied like it is. Feel sorry for staff, they was there putting probably last of the stock out, condensing stock. Girl on tills still smiling as she served. Hopefully they all find another job soon, unless someone saves it.
Visited last week. I usually go to another store but they didn't have the stock I wanted. I asked 3 ladies but 1 specifically stood out to me and she went and checked in the stock room and found what I asked for as it was not out on the shop floor. It was a big make up vanity set which got reduced. Online it stated they had stock hence my visit. Thank you to the lovely lady.
Many rude staff , the self serve tills are rarely open despite it being busy at times forcing people to queue at one manned till it's ridiculous. Dirty store not well stocked zero atmosphere miserable to shop in, brighouse is so much better the wilkos there the staff should take a lead from over there. Also the reduced stock are way to expensive there compared to other Wilko stores.
Called in for one item wearing my mask.store quite busy with a few customers just wandering about. Long queue for only one checkout until I realised there was a self scan facility. A helpful member of staff helped me do this and I avoided the long checkout queue. OK for me but some older customers were preferring to pay cash hence the long queue. Found the product I wanted at a reasonable price.
Quite simply one of the worst stores of wilkos going zero atmosphere many unfriendly staff dirty self service tills rarely open and many items not in stock a lot of gaps on the shelfs. This is one of the stores that will close very soon once wilkos starts the process of insolvency the way it is going. The store in Brighouse wilkos is much better by the staff should take a leaf from the colleagues 4 miles away.
Good range of products and well stocked, only down side a lot of the time they only seem to have one cash till open if you want to pay by cash so you get long cue's of people waiting.
Good value and great range of products. Fantastic that you can actually take your dog into the shop with you That's a rarity nice one Wilko's! Unfortunately self service tills often closed, some nice ppl actually working there though. Security guard can be a bit OTT, shadowing you as you shop. Although saying that, I've not seen them in a while. Have they got rid?
A DIY store with good range of products but nothing big. Prices are lower than most of the big chains nearby. Security alert announcement after every few minutes are a nuisance and unnecessary. When you hear this just after you enter the store, makes you feel a culprit. Never seen this anywhere else.
Yet again a disappointing visit to Wilko's. Whilst the store is well presented , well stocked and clean , and the staff polite and courteous , yet again there was only ONE till open for cash payments , and a long queue. There was a member of staff trying to usher people to self-service check-outs for card payment. This has been the same on my last 3 visits and I have complained previously. I usually try to shop elsewhere now as Wilko clearly don't like cash. Or maybe the store manager is inept?
Bought kids bedroom wallpaper from here marvel heroes, well worth the money looks good put up as well. Bought some wallpaper for living room in silver looks nicer up.also for kitchen really nice wallpaper,last room in the to do is my bedroom the house is now complete.
