Great visit. My 2 children both enjoy themselves. £5 per adult, and if you keep your receipt you can return as many times for free for a year. Children admission free. Staff friendly and welcoming. There is a nice little traditional victorian play ground with wooden toys and props which my children enjoyed.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Such a wonderful place, brings back memories, and also shows the children how school life was in times gone by. Highly recommended.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Loads of history and education opportunities. An award winning Cafe with great food. A unique historical childrens swing out in the yard. Look out for Mr Wilderspin. Opportunities for children to dress in historical cloths. Almost entirely run by volunteers. Love it. There are new things to see and new opening times. Thursday - Sunday 10 am - 4 pm. Last museum viewing 3 pm.
Good museum showing the school days for children and excellent renovation of old school building excellent cafe on site very nice and staff brilliant
This is one of the best museums I have ever visited. Knowledgable and enthusiastic volunteers. Lots of interactive exhibits . Old village school who's leader had some very modern teaching methods .really good cafe food and drinks which are reasonably priced. Good indoor and outdoor areas . Thankyou to all the staff there . My 'older ' family enjoyed it .
Well worth the visit lovely café well priced
I have visited the school on a few occasions due to it being the school which my mum attended when young. My mum being born in 1921. This museum as it is now is a fantastic place for people to learn about schooling from over a century a go. I would definitely recommend this place for a visit, especially school, girl guiding & scout groups.
Lovely café, great surroundings. Café open Thursday to Sunday 10 till 4pm. For museum best to check the website
I love this place and the cafe, however I think the new charge of £5 is a little steep for what it is. I know cash is needed for heating bills etc, but feel this charge may put people off visiting.
Fantastic place had a really good time.
