Had a lovely meal. I had chicken with mushroom cream sauce and my husband had the cod and chips both of us enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly too. Definitely be going back.
For a start they definitely do not close at 8, but I didn't see opening hours to be able to correct them! We stayed in Borth for a few days and struggled to find somewhere good to eat, then found this on our last evening! We would have eaten there every night if we'd known. The prices were fair, staff friendly and attentive and the food was actually delicious. A couple on the next table had been there the night before and were planning to go the next day for Sunday lunch - and I can fully see why. They were very good and reassuring with regards to allergies.
Lovely pub and restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and the food was excellent, especially the pie. It was a proper pie with a top, bottom and sides, filled with meat and gravy. Just the way a pie should be!! We will be back.
All the staff are so friendly and make you feel at home and the food is excellent, good quality and delicious. Just spent the afternoon celebrating my Mams 80th birthday with 20 of us. A good home feel pub with quality from when we arrived to our farewell. Many thanks to you Chris and all. We will be back
Great proper pub, beers spot on and brilliant service. Staff friendly and very welcoming. Food good, honestly there's no fault to be found with anything. Would like to mention Beth as she is absolutely brilliant. If you're local to this place them I'm sure you already know how good it is and if you're passing through would definitely recommend stopping in
4th visit now, always good food. Not been disappointed yet. The prawn cocktail was an absolute cracker. Very often ruined in other establishments. Liver, bacon and onions was a treat, the others had duck and the salmon main. Well done. See you again soon.
lovely hidden little eatery. The menu is varied, snacks or evening meals. lovely atmosphere and the staff are particularly obliging. The menu prices are very fair. The fish and chips were super. Massive meaty fish with gorgeous crispy batter and lovely skin on skinny fries. Very glad I've found this place, particularly if you're on your way to Aberystwyth from the Machynlleth end. Carpark good, not far from entrance.
Very nice. Covid-secure, clean. Good wholesome pub grub. Cauliflower & red pepper curry, and Wildfowler Welsh rarebit burger. Reasonably priced.
We were recommended this place by our parents and we weren't disappointed. Really really great food, especially the Cowboy Burger. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices too
Excellent service, sadly I forgot to take a photo, but I had a half roast chicken with all the trimmings. Even though I was hungry I couldn't finish it all. Plenty of parking space and will definitely go back
