Lovely little farm! Much cheaper than a lot of others and you actually get to stroke and feed the animals. Our sons also enjoyed the little park, sand pit and an area they had set out with hay bales and various outdoor toys. Food in the cafe was lovely and staff were very helpful. Will be visiting again soon.
Beautiful farm! We went in January when it was free as we only found out it existed through the ads! Although having read the price board it's very cheap anyway! There's a cafe and a little gift shop where you pay to enter the farm. You can buy bags of animal food for £1 and feed some of the gorgeous animals! There's a little play area for kids when you first go through the doors and plenty of benches to sit down. We took our 11 month old and she absolutely loved it! She even managed to feed the sheep. Now she doesn't stop saying baa! Very educational for kids and hopefully helps them become little animal lovers. We will definitely be coming again in the near future.
Lovely day out, staff are friendly, plenty to do and very good prices
Great value, gluten free food readily available and gorgeous animals! We especially love the friendly goat he/she is like goat therapy super cute! The hay bales have provided an hour of fun and my toddler actually had a nap so thank you for a great day!
its a really nice place to go with kids I'm sure they would be exited to feed the animals I enjoyed the time I spend feeding animals
We've had a brilliant afternoon at the farm. FREE admission. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely children's play area. A nice cafe with reasonable prices and a selection of sandwiches, pizza, sausage rolls, cakes, scones etc. The toilets are clean and accessible. There is a small gift shop. The animals look well looked after. You can buy a bag of food to feed to the animals for £1. The car park is right outside the main entrance. Take good footwear it's muddy. We will definately return.
Great place for a visit admittance was only £2 each so nice and cheap. Place has a decent size parking area. And there's a shop and Caffe on site. We went to the students Xmas fair and picked up some hand made gifts that where very well priced. Will definitely go again in the summer but most of the animals have indoor viewing windows so there out of the weather. Nice selection of animals you can feed and pet.
We've been to Wigfield many times and always enjoyed however visited this week and were disappointed. No horses, empty bird cage looking scruffy no Highland cattle and a number of empty cages. Much fewer pigs however not sure if this is seasonal tbf. Cafe is reasonably priced but at 12pm there weren't many sandwiches left and parts of the special sold out which I was told after paying for it. The baby changing was filthy even for a farm.Parking was difficult.Overall, worth for the price and there's now a sandpit added. I'm not comparing to other farms; I'm comparing to how this one used to be.
Had a really good day out here. Arrived at 10:30 and left after 13:30. Cost £3:50 each to enter. Shop / restaurant quite expensive for what it is, so take a picnic . Kids thoroughly enjoyed the play areas more than the animals, which were, in my opinion, nothing special. The whole area , while not dirty, looked a bit jaded, grass needed cutting, picnic tables needed cleaning etc. Would go again, but cheaper on a weekday, and with a picnic
Lovely couple of hours with grandaughter watching her feed some of the animals weather wasn't the best but enjoyed it all the same,
