A relaxing stay overnight so we could meet up with old friends in from NZ who were visiting family in the nearby town. Welcomed as soon as we arrived by Dick and Flo the dog. Really comfy beds, clean rooms, my only regret was having to get out of bed for breakfast, nCooked breakfast and / or cereals were on offer. Various old signs and collectable decorated the breakfast room. Easy parking, with electric recharging if you need it.nIf I am ever in the area again I'll definitely look at the availability there.
Absolutely wonderful little place - self contained barns with bedroom/bathroom and tea-coffee-facilities, with theming based on different vintage cartoons. Each room had a welcome pack with details on all local attractions, directions, facilities, basically everything you need to know.nStaff were super friendly over the phone and accommodating a late check-in due to traffic. Location was easy to find and there is parking available.nVery highly recommended and I hope to be back soon.
Excellent amenity and parking; charming setting. Room had a really nice two-stage set-up with an area that can be left open but enclosed, then a bedroom. Recently remodelled and pleasant décor. The service was a true stand-out; the proprietor and his colleagues were all very friendly while also letting us get on with it.nnHighlights for me were the generously-sized choose-your-own cooked breakfast with wide dietary options and good coffee, and Flo the very small dog who was amiably wandering around outside!nnStayed two nights for a wedding with half-a-dozen other friends in the same place - excellent common areas for socialising/picnicking, light walk around the property.
Stayed here for one night whilst passing through Bedford-Upon-Avon. Fantastic little place, so friendly and accomodating especially for cyclists. Had secure bike storage and a great breakfast.nHope to stay again in the future.
Everyone who worked went above and beyond to make our stay special. The atmosphere is the most gorgeous rustic charm that is expected in this part of the country, with clean rooms, stunning gardens and one of the best breakfasts around. I could not recommend Widbrook Barns highly enough. Staying there was like joining a small community for our stay and every moment was perfect, start to finish.
