I've lived locally for over 10 years and had not been here before today. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a decent outlet. Not too big but with pretty much everything you're likely to need. I came in for some hardboard and decorating supplies. They had some good offers on what you'd probably call amateur DIY basics.nnMy visit was for 10AM opening on a Sunday morning - definitely the time to come - only because this retail park/industrial estate can get busy. I try to avoid coming here if I can.nnThey don't seem to have baskets so I was told to use a black plastic bucket from the display...bit weird.nnStaff were pleasant and helpful.
This is a great Wickes branch, especially considering it’s not the biggest and is quite tucked away. Loughton needed one for years, and it’s great to have it. Used to have to travel to Harlow which is a nightmare to get to. The stock levels have always been good for my needs. Click and collect is easy and convenient through this store. The store is easy to navigate and is bright, however I’d say that the aisles can get a little cramped at times, especially when pulling a heavy trolley load through the store. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. Ron is always cracking a dodgy joke. Well, he thinks he is. Would recommend this Wickes.
A great experience. A gentleman helped me to the car with my order. Asked if I needed anything whilst in the shop and put a smile on everyone’s face through being so kind.
Staff are very good at helping customers. Great store with many items available.
