Just to clear things up, ignore the 1-star review from Simon Rawlings about a bad smell. That issue has nothing to do with Wickes. The odour he’s referring to is almost certainly from the nearby plastic recycling facility. You’d think, with over 40 reviews under his belt, he’d be able to tell the difference. I’ve reported his review as irrelevant and would encourage others to do the same, it’s simply not fair to the store.nnNow, onto the actual Wickes store - it's fantastic to finally have one in Leamington Spa! The prices and special offers are spot on, parking is plentiful, and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. While it would be great to have a sheet material cutting service, they do offer affordable delivery for bulky items currently just £4, which is super convenient.nnAll in all, I’m really pleased Wickes opened here. I’ve already popped in several times - and for the record, on my last visit, there was no stench at all… take note, Simon.
Outstanding staff and excellent customer service. I’ve visited the new Wickes store in Leamington Spa a dozen times and on each occasion the team has been absolutely incredible. They are welcoming, open, engaging and always helpful. It’s a pleasure to go there. Congratulations to all involved. A great team effort.
Make sure you have your receipt if returning an item. Unlike any other store, Wickes are not able to lookup the order using your card of purchase. Sadly, I like Wickes as a DIY store but the inability to return funds to your card without the receipt is a major issue sadly
Our Design Consultant Sarah-Jayne at Wickes Leamington was brilliant. She helped us design our perfect bathroom and nothing was too much trouble. Really helpful and client-focused. Great experience.
We visited the brand new Wickes store in Leamington Spa today 08/01/2025 with my partner and twin babies, upon entering the store, it felt very welcoming and the staff was all smiley and happy, they left us alone and allowed us to look around, some stores like to approach customers and pester them but this store did not and left us to browse freely.nnI ended up contacting the store and spoke with a lady named Lauren over the phone and told them of my positive feedback which they was delighted and grateful to hear, so here I am leaving a review for others to see.
