Ridiculous delivery texts. One from Wickes saying 7 to 7 and another from city sprint saying 14.00 to 18.00.nIn store staff could not clarify or give help to resolve this despite being labelled as delivery contact number.
Wouldn’t let me cut the end off a 2x1 lath indoors so I had to do it in the rain in the car park . We don’t have a cutting service! is what I was told after I asked if I could cut it down to fit in my van . Very poor
Visited store on a Monday, with a scaled drawing of our kitchen and the model of the one we were wanting. A list of all cabinets, colour, finish, work tops, sink etc. Absolutely everything listed apart from the tap. A lady in there eventually approached and said the kitchen designers were off until Wednesday. And that they would ring me then to discuss. Waited until Saturday, no communication. Against my better judgement, i contacted their head office and explained. as much to keep them aware of the failings of one of their stores, Got a veiled apology and a promise of a follow up from the store. 2 days later got a call from the same lady asking what we wanted!? HO had simply passed our number on for a return phone call. Said will have designers to contact, still haven't heard.nGot to be the most shambolic Retail Operation out there!nShockingly amateurish!
Prices are on the steeper side but if B&Q Macclesfield doesn't have it we normally go here.
Good selection of products and reasonable prices.
