Extremely poor service, we are wickes trade holder l.The website showed 15 in stock of item I wanted, yet I was initially told the item was unavailable when asked. After querying this, staff confirmed it was in stock but showed me the wrong product. I then received conflicting information from two other staff members, before being told the item was “in the back” and couldn’t be accessed until the following day and they put a small screw box in the air. Weird to mennThere were still around 30 minutes before closing, and although I was told it could be got the staff in front my face the staff said he couldn’t be asked and I said I need items and stop being lazy, no real effort was made there was 4 of them standing together which none attempted to go. I had already completed a large trade purchase this was just one final item. I was just told I have to make a second trip, wasting time and fuel. Maybe my trade is better elsewhere where to other company. Just avoid where you cannnpoor communication and unhelpful service costing me waste time and money
Bought two bifold doors from here one returned due to damage, next sent week later,carpenter came back to install and now found middle hinges don't match up not very happy with results little more care needed with putting together on your part.
It’s a nice store, but the staff are not helpful at all. I expected better customer service, which was disappointing. The shop itself is good, but the lack of assistance really affected my experience.
It's basically a builders merchants on a large scale with items that can be used by people doing D I Y . Prices are quite good and competitive, staff seem quite helpful and knowledgeable , it was not too busy as I visited during lockdown , online ordering is easy.
Rude and unhelpful staff in this particular store. 'Computer says no' attitude. I tried to buy some compost at the til as I was paying for something else, asking to collect from outside as I left, as you would expect to do in any usual garden centre etc. However I was told that this was a ridiculous request and that no ship would ever allow someone to do this. I tried to complain and received a call from a manager at the store to tell me the same thing. I wouldn't shop here again.
