Have very little pride in your custom. The item I wanted was £34 on the shelf or £25 click and collect. So I did click and collect which was quick, however out of the 7 showing in stock only 1 was on the shelf. Which one did they pick to give me? The one on the shelf which was battered with packaging falling apart being held together by tape. The guy had no problems giving it to me - so I refused and they went and found another in storage. There are levels of service but there is no pride, care or consideration to your custom. They would sell more if the only stock on the shelves wasn't damaged.
It's basically a builders merchants on a large scale with items that can be used by people doing D I Y . Prices are quite good and competitive, staff seem quite helpful and knowledgeable , it was not too busy as I visited during lockdown , online ordering is easy.
Went to collect a ton bag of pebbles at 9am and was told they wouldn't load it up because they was to busy unloading a lorry and to come back after 12pm.
Extremely poor service, we are wickes trade holder l.The website showed 15 in stock of item I wanted, yet I was initially told the item was unavailable when asked. After querying this, staff confirmed it was in stock but showed me the wrong product. I then received conflicting information from two other staff members, before being told the item was “in the back” and couldn’t be accessed until the following day and they put a small screw box in the air. Weird to mennThere were still around 30 minutes before closing, and although I was told it could be got the staff in front my face the staff said he couldn’t be asked and I said I need items and stop being lazy, no real effort was made there was 4 of them standing together which none attempted to go. I had already completed a large trade purchase this was just one final item. I was just told I have to make a second trip, wasting time and fuel. Maybe my trade is better elsewhere where to other company. Just avoid where you cannnpoor communication and unhelpful service costing me waste time and money
Terrible staff, had a return to do just before they were closing and they’d shut the tills off and were not very helpful or empathetic in the slightest.
