A big DIY store in Bolton city center. It has lots of tools and materials for your projects. It is inside a retail park so there are plenty of parking spaces with free 3 hours parking available. Today, I grabbed a garden storage box there which is a bit cheaper than what I found on the Internet.
Ordered a Handy 10L jerry can and spout - a bit pricy but worth paying more for quality. Travelled 30 miles to Wickes Bolton to collect.nnTotally disappointed to be handed a jerry can that looked nothing like the picture or description on their site, was twice the height.nnQuality looked awful with exposed welded seams so had to ask for a refund. The staff couldn't have cared less. Tried calling customer services but no answer so gave up. Bait and switch!
Ordered a lawnmower from wickes oldham, opened the box to find the lawnmower had been used to the point there was grass everywhere and the blade was damaged from use. I don’t understand how this product ended up with a customer, shows they are re selling used goods/customer returns. Very disappointing. Returned to Bolton wickes without any compensation or apology
Had our kitchen fitted paid just short of 20,000 pounds rubbish communication fitter from wigan never turned up always messing about he always had another job to go to the job still isn't finished after March this year absolutely shocking items broken workmanship absolutely garbage we emailed wickes at least 10 times no reply avoid like the plague decent quality products but thats about it .just want your money after that no interest pics to follow
Purchased some timber from here.nnWas reasonably priced for general purchase, but was even better when using my TradePro card.nnThe 10 percent discount is always a bonus.
