A Heritage Railway with Steam and Diesel engines. The Sidings Bar can provide a full lunch menu, pizzas, BBQ or snacks everyday. A Museum is also on site.

Story

Our continuing aims are to restore the Station to its former glory circa 1930/40's, relaying track and sidings, acquiring rolling stock and add more items to our museum relating to the Station and The Midland & Great Northern Railway.
Our Sidings Bar and Function Room is available for a quick bite to eat, or maybe you would like to have a lunchtime meal.

Nice little place to visit, especially take the kids on Steam Sundays, the trains will be running. Check their calendar first. Also hold weddings, only been to one. But it was very nice.

I go to Whitwell Fridays for the bike meet. Always a great atmosphere where you can get a burger and drink and chat nonsense about motorbikes. Love it !

Very nice atmosphere. Train ride is enjoyable. Café has lots to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Another good night at the Friday bike meet! Numbers of bikers going up as the weather improves, get down to the station and meet liked minded people out enjoying their bikes!

Daughters wedding reception held there, staff were awesome, food was lovely, decent bar, steam train for guests, they made it a truly memorable reception, I highly recommend them for any occasion, absolute stars all.
