First time I have bought from Whittakers, very impressed. Excellent fish and chips. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely delicious seafood platter!! Lovely and friendly staff.

The food here is second to none. Always piping hot and fresh. I eat here about 3 times a week the fish is to die for juicy crisp and so tasty. Love the burgers from there as well. Best chippy around. Would highly recommend.

Best fish and chips in town!!! The fish is very fresh, the chips is so well baked. It is seriously heaven on a plate whatever they serve.

Very speedy friendly service, excellent quality food. Shame the car park is very pokey though.

BEST CHIPPY in local area I have been coming here for years the staff  are very lovely and I would highly recommend good value for money. My favourite is the nuggets or the chicken burger. Cant wait til my next visit

My wife picked up a takeaway of fish, chips & peas at 6.50pm on Wednesday evening 20th, the fish just wasn`t right and the chips were old and leathery, awful. Previous to this we have had superb food from here, don`t let your standards slip or you will easily lose a lot of custom.

My wife and I love this place. We have the Haddock and popcorn chicken delivered to us once to twice a week. The food is great and delivery is fast.

Haddock is really good. Regular chips is huge amount. Been having home deliveries
