A supplier of dream cars! Great experience with recent purchase of my immaculate MX5. I am so pleased with it - exactly as described, well presented and at a fair price. Don't hesitate to deal with Whittakers. Chris is friendly and knowledgeable and the whole process was easy.
I regret to share my disappointing experience with Whittaker Motor Company LTD, specifically with Chris Whittaker. As a customer, I encountered several issues that left me frustrated and dissatisfied.nnInitial Purchase:nIn November, I purchased a car from Chris. During the inspection, everything appeared fine.nHowever, within a week, I discovered that the mirror didn’t heat properly.nAccording to consumer law, hidden faults not identified during inspection but found within 30 days should be addressed by the seller.nChris advised me to seek resolution through the RAC Warranty he had sold me. Unfortunately, the warranty did not cover this issue.nRefusal to Repair:nI requested that Chris repair the mirror, but he outright refused, suggesting I handle it myself.nThis lack of responsibility and customer care was disheartening.nStolen Car and RAC Refund:nA few months later, my car was stolen. I turned to the RAC Warranty for a refund.nThe RAC promptly refunded the amount to Chris Whittaker.nHowever, Chris played games, avoiding repayment. His excuses ranged from not receiving the money to being ill or too busy.nEventually, I had to involve the Ombudsman to secure my refund.nPartial Refund and Unprofessional Behavior:nChris did refund me, but not the full amount. He deducted his commission.nThis unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. It felt like dealing with a petulant child rather than a responsible business owner.nIn summary, my experience with Whittaker Motor Company LTD was disappointing. Chris Whittaker’s actions fell short of what one would expect from a reputable car dealership. I hope others can learn from my experience and approach their dealings with caution.nnPlease note that this review reflects my personal encounter, and I encourage potential customers to thoroughly evaluate their options before engaging with this company.
I cannot recommend Whittaker Motors enough. The service given to us by Chris and the quality of the car was fantastic.nChris did everything he said and made no false promises or oversell on products.nGreat experience and loving my new ride.nThanks Chris, I really appreciate all your help.
Great experience selling my car with this company. Chris called me, we exchanged on the car and discussed the price. 3h later he was here to view my car and made the payment instantly. Chris is a very enthusiastic person and has a lot of experience in this industry. He made sure to make me feel at ease selling my first car privately. Thanks, really recommend!
