I'm more than happy to recommend the place for short one day visit. Very lively atmosphere, amazing seafood and nice selection of locally crafted beers. People are friendly, pebbles on the beach are not to sharp, view to the open sea is breathtaking. I felt in love to Whitstable.

Make sure you buy drinks and snacks in advance - the station hardly offers any facilities but the train platform and the vending machines are empty
