A very good experience indeed. Modern large and comfortable room with large en-suite and all beautifully appointed. The host (Denise) was most welcoming and the breakfast was superb. The B&B is within walking distance of the town. I would highly recommend this B&B

There are very few B&B's in Whitstable and if you want quality with panache and exemplary service, I recommend you choose the Whitstable Bay B&B over the nearby chain hotel and the few other local B&B's, one of which has gone seriously down hill. We stayed in the en-suite Sea View room that is fitted out to a very high standard, comparable to any 5 star hotel with the possible exception of a telephone that is not necessary anyway. The morning breakfast trolley might be equalled but not surpassed...it was quite exceptional. Denise and Barry have gone to great lengths to provide this standard. The off road parking is a welcome bonus, as is the nearby excellent Rose in Bloom pub for drinks, lunches and dinners. Across the road also is a footpath that leads to the beach. As a former Whitstable resident who knows the locality better than most, you could not do better.

We booked the Whitstable for a last minute getaway and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly owner who gave us all the information needed and then left us to it. The room was spacious and well kept with a sofa, table and large en-suite shower room. The bed was really comfortable and the best thing of all was definitely the trolley of breakfast that arrived at the door in the morning. We had the full English one day and the smoked salmon and eggs the second. Both were very good and I think my only criticism is that perhaps there was too much smoked salmon but it all tasted great. It was also really quiet and only a 5 minute walk from the beach which offers a nice stroll into the centre of the town.
