Whitlingham Adventure provides outdoor and adventurous activities for adults and children from 8yrs up.

Story

Whitlingham Adventure welcomes both groups and individuals to take part in activity tasters, accredited courses, private tuition, craft hire and birthday party sessions. The centre hosts many school/group activity days/weeks and several local and Regional sporting and charity events.

Activities include Sailing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Raftbuilding, Powerboating, Archery, Bushcraft, Mountain Biking, Climbing, Team Challenges, First Aid courses and instructor qualifications.

Whitlingham Adventure also hosts marathon/race canoeing, rowing, open water swimming and scuba diving through its partnered clubs.

Whitlingham Adventure won 'Canoe England Centre of the Year 2013' and has been named Canoe England's Top Centre

First go in a kayak! Amazing! Facilities and staff are second to none.

Great place we cycled round lots of space sat a while in a couple of spaces for drink and snacks then later ice cream what a fab space for walkers and cycling brilliant x

Lovely place for water sports and relaxing

The title of this location is misleading. You cannot swim in Whitlingham Broad due to blue-green algae in the water. A warning to dog walkers as well, it can be highly toxic to dogs, so do not let them swim in the broad.  The adventure centre runs loads of other water activities which are great. Also hires rooms out for corporate meetings etc.

Whitlingham adventure is a park not too far from the city center, you can reach it easily by car, but also by bike or even walk. We had a great time as a group with the archery activity and the beautiful landscape around, you are surrounded by nature. The staff is also very nice and friendly. This adventure park is ideal for groups or even worth to visit alone. Other activity are included such as sailing, kayaking and much more. Really recommended!

Had my first SUP boarding lesson a couple of weeks ago. After 10 minutes I felt confident on the water and the 2 hours flew by.  Will def be booking again soon.
