Big garden centre. Good variety of plants. You can also buy gifts, clothes and check some kitchen options. There is a nice cafe where you can have breakfast and lunch or enjoy a nice coffee with a slice of cake. It has everything you need for your garden, including furniture. Highly recommended.
The worst service I’ve received for a long time. Called here for a quick lunch with my 3 year old before we bought garden furniture. It took 2 people 20 minutes yo serve the 3 people in front of me in the queue. There were no jacket potatoes or cakes. I ordered a bottle of water and a fruit shoot, both drinks were brought to the take wrong. Food was mediocre. We left and will buy furniture elsewhere
One of the best place garden shop and restaurant I’ve been visited closer to our home. I highly recommend this place, staff are all amazing, foods excellent, very clean place. I would like to thank you to lovely cashier Thank you to all the staff at the centre today . Cheers to all
We had a lovely day looking around Whiteleys Garden Centre Mirfield. It has plenty of plants, gifts, garden furniture, garden lights, wild bird food, water features, clocks etc. There is also a lovely cafe with an outdoor seating area. The disabled toilet is very clean and is big enough to take a wheelchair in. Would definitely recommend a visit xxx
You get a good deal on clothes. Shop is a bit pricey but everywhere is the same nowadays. Cafe has lovely food plenty of seating and a dog friendly area. Plants are expensive but that's the same as all garden centres
Honestly the best grotto I have ever been to in the 8 years going to Santa's grottos with my son.. you got your own time alone with santa nit like others where you have to visit santa with others so very very pleased with this.. worth ever penny the experience was fantastic honestly santa was the best and he's amazing elfs will definitely recommend and we will be back ever year it was the best time
Had a lovley afternoon tea for my husband's birthday. Was slightly disappointed as the menu shows a prawn cocktail starter as shown in the photos when asked they said that's only in the photos. Staff where brilliant.
Been visiting for many years. Called in for lunch on Friday 19 April and ordered our usual food and cups of tea. Food was OK. Not amazing but average the cup or tea was awful. It tasted like sweeping up from the floor. I took it back and was told on the counter that they had changed their tea to 'Manor house' and no longer served Yorkshire tea. I got a refund which I appreciated but in my opinion little things like this spoil a place for lots of people . It isn't as busy as it used to be... I wonder why??
My favourite place for afternoon tea! Been all over but this is the best value afternoon tea you will find in the area. Current offer with family card which you can get for free in the shop is £20 for two which is excellent value. A selection of sandwiches: egg mayo, tuna & cucumber, cheese & pickle and ham. A large slice of quiche each, a delicious fruit scone with jam/cream or butter and a selection of cakes/desserts. Washed down with a pot of tea or coffee. On a small note we did prefer the old chocolate brownie to the current strawberry slice but the raspberry trifle pot and choccy bun! was yummy. And if you can’t finish it take home your leftovers in a box. Friendly service too and while you’re recovering there’s some lovely gifts and home accessories in the huge gift shop. Highly recommend and make sure you book in advance. We booked for 4 people and at £10 per head is an absolute bargain. We will be back.
We have just had the most amazing afternoon tea, lots to choose from, the staff are excellent. We will definitely be back after reviewing the menu. Thank you to everyone who made our Mother’s Day treat extra special.
