This is a lovely little museum experience in the heart of Cheam village. They usually have good activities for kids. The teashop is lovely and usually quiet. Well worth a visit.
The house dates from the 1500 and has a recent modern extension and renovation. It's free to go in and has a great vegetarian cafe with tables in the garden. Definitely worth a 45 minute visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Pretty cool historical building. Worth a visit if you're nearby. Child friendly and there's an accessible lift if you need it. Open Sundays and free entry too. Being a surveyor, there's not a single level surface but I'm not doing a report on this so it's all good
The historical House is very fascinating, with different rooms showing part of her long history and the people who lived there during the centuries. There's also an amazing café inside with the garden with amazing Italian homemade food, we had a lovely time
Visited the cafe. Home prepared food. Great coffee. Brought the pups. Staff extremely helpful with guests who needed assistance.
We met a lovely volunteer who shared some really interesting information that we had not heard before. We always enjoying visiting Whitehall and the refurb has really improved it

Café was amazing, great food, amazing cake. Museum has lots of varied displays about local history and life in different periods, plus temporary display space with local "Lockdown Art" during the time of our visit.
Free entry. An incredible amount of information and artefacts relating to the building and surrounding areas, and way more than you would expect to fit in such a small building. The displays are detailed and wonderfully arranged. Kids have great fun dressing up. Nice little cafe and garden area. Week definitely come back!
