This relaxed location offers superb facilities including a large outdoor heated pool and an indoor pool with flume, perfect for splashing around whatever the weather! There’s a huge array of family activities available such as body zorbing, archery and much more. Beyond the buckets and spades, Nab Bar is set with its incredible views of the bay and equally brilliant burgers. Evenings are filled with fantastic family entertainment including live bands, magicians and comedians. This park offers breath-taking views along the magnificent island coastline and is an ideal base to explore."

Just spent 5 nights here, the grounds and park are well maintained and clean but sadly that’s where the cleanliness stopped. Our caravan was filthy, the main bedroom stunk of dogs wee, so bad that my wife and I slept in the living room. The kids room was covered in dogs hair, oven was filthy, thankfully it didn’t work, did report this the first night there but nothing was ever done, luckily we took our own air fryer and rice cooker. The whole caravan looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks, we even found an old contact lens. I think this comment is true as we found a form under the sink last clean date 23/08/2024, we stayed 17/09/2024. You get 2 toilet rolls and then you have to buy your own, very mean. I also noted that I had been put in a Deluxe Caravan instead of the one ordered a Superior, when I mentioned this to customer service I was asked how do I know it’s a Deluxe, quite obvious it said it on the side and the pictures on their website for the Deluxe and Superior are totally different. I was then given what I think was a load of BS telling me pictures are for illustration purposes only and all the vans have been regraded and that I was in a superior which sorry is rubbish but I really couldn’t be bothered to argue with him. This park seems more gear up and interested in you buying one of the caravans instead of looking after cleaning the holiday makers vans. We did actually see a cleaning group which consisted of half a dozen teenagers one of them pulling a Henry vacuum cleaner.
If you are booking this place because it has EV charging, look elsewhere. The caravan that we lived in was really nice but the reason we picked this place was because it said there are EV chargers. Doing trust ZapMap on this one. Out of 4, only 1 was working which always stayed busy because locals keep it on charge for 2 days straight and no one bothers to ask them to remove the car even if it is fully charged. There is no limit to charging time and the area is not gated so even the nearby residents come and leave their cars charge as it is FREE! Which leaves the tourists who actually paid for the holiday inn no place to charge.
Stayed in a valued chalet for vacation, up a hill, chalet did have parking behind so didn't need to walk far to car and back. Rooms were quite basic but could do with updating. Had lovely views, even nearby airport, as planes fly overhead and then land/takeoff from nearby landing strip. Great place for family holidays, the beach is at the bottom of a very steep slope but is worthwhile as the view is amazing. The place has an outdoor/indoor pool, activities including nerffing and Target Archery. Arcade, kids/adults entertainment, a little shop and food places.
Ok so we’ve just stayed here for three nights in a 8 berth luxury pet free caravan. The good bits. - the park offers free EV charging near the client services and shop area. - the caravan number 14 in crosswinds area was massive and actually very nice we were worried given some reviews on here and trip advisor, it was in very good condition some small bits of mould on shower tray and a few windows but nothing we’ve not seen before in a caravan park!, very clean on arrival with freshly made beds and plenty of towels provided. - the pool is small but fun still for little ones, older kids say 9+ might be bored by the size and the fairly small slide. The one hour slots are a good idea to prevent it being too crowded and there was always one or more attentive lifeguards on duty. - the shop was well stocked - the staff were all very friendly - the beach is fairly nearby. - the shop has a Costa express machine. The not so great bits - one EV charger didn’t work and it seemed a small number of guests felt they could just leave their car there all day. They should somehow police usage of this, charge for it or get more chargers installed. - the caravan although it was lovely, had a few small things to improve, like the hair traps in both drains for the shower and bath needed a good deep clean and the hot/cold were the wrong way around in the en-suite which nearly led to my 5 year old touching scalding hot water. - there needs to be better signposting throughout, the maps provided are fine but better signposting for the pools, the “areas” for the caravan, etc. - shop is fairly expensive for the odd bits. - others aren’t wrong about the steep path to the beach, it’s a tough climb if you’re older or have little ones and not wheelchair accessible at all. All in all we had a great stay here and left happy, we didn’t spend much time in the bar and restaurants so can’t comment too much but the food we ordered when we did was nice. We’d happily return here, it made a great base to explore more of the IOW.
It was a nice location to see the island. Didn't use them but seems to have good bus access. Arrived at check in time and it appeared that our booking was not there and was constantly delayed. We were put into a different chalet than what we paid for. Chalet was very tired looking and not very clean. Dirty sofa cushions, dirty sides, broken wardrobe handle, all kitchen utensils etc had to be washed before use. Main bedroom bed pushed against the window and curtains making it difficult to have the window open and kept pulling on the curtains. Lack of plug sockets around and none in any bedrooms. Front door has a large window and no way of covering this to block out sunlight when needed. Rat waking us up at 4:30am chewing through bin bags. Food that was not ours found on the floor seemed to of come from under or the side of the sofa. No heaters in bedrooms so could be cold overnight. Toilet needs a serious clean and update as does not work very well. Sofa itself rock solid and not comfortable to sit on for a long period of time. Bar on site super expensive. There is no specific parking near the chalet there is spaces a walk away at the back so parking on grass which is not ideal in wet weather.
The park has plenty to do, the heated outdoor pool is our favourite, the beach is beautiful a steep climb back though. We always have a clean, well equipped caravan and the site itself is nice and quiet. The only negative is that the arcade area needs updating, lots of machines didn't work, the evening entertainment wasn't the best but that's just our opinion and we were happy to chill back at our caravan. The staff are all very friendly and the on site shop is good. Restaurant food is on par with standard pub food, a little pricier but that's to be expected. It's a 10 min drive up to Sandham Gardens which is fun for the kids. We will be returning again next year. Rooms: The caravan was very clean and fully equipped. Main bedroom was spacious, the kids ones are more compact. Most of them are a 10 minute walk crossing one road to the park which is no bother.
These were one of the best holidays that you can have in the entirety of the uk lots and lots of things to do and easy access to transport there is also a shops in the holiday park that sells all you need to live here for a few weeks there are also 2 swimming pools one indoor swimming pool with a slide and the outdoor swimming pool. There is also very easy access to the beach. The staff are very nice as there was this one time when my son had a serious injury and the staff acted on it right away.
Amazing caravan park, clean, organised and well looked after. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Great location. As any caravan park if you have a car, better to go around and reach big shop. Even so there is a bus taking you anywhere you want but plan your journeys. A bit disappointed on the first night at the bar/pub inside the holiday park. Looked understaffed bank Holiday day and beginning of the half term, confusion on the order and payments, we were a big group of 9 kids but 4 of them didn't receive the food, we had to chase it. But all sorted quite quickly! For sure we will be back:
I know I didn’t book the accommodation or pay for it, but I’m disabled and so is my dad and because “we didn’t give enough information about our disability’s” they didn’t ask neither! We are staying in a place where we have to climb steps to get to the front door, to have a wash we have to try and climb into a bath not possible!, to get back from the entertainment or facilities there is a hike up a steep hill, the beach is not as accessible as you would hope, the place we stayed in had no power points in the rooms and limited amount in the kitchen and lounge area, it’s just lucky we have access to a car, but even with that I don’t want to be here I was better off staying at home!
Views and location were amazing. Enjoyed every minute of the holiday, the bedrooms are very small, but the bed are very conformable so can’t complain. Just a few things for next time. Brings lots of extension leads, theres no sockets in the rooms and only 2 for the kitchen. There was only one heater in the living room and didn’t work very well, Lucky we had plenty of duvets. Also bring your own drinks. 20 pound will only get you 2 drinks.
