The joiner I normally use has retired so I needed a joiner to replace the old wooden door and complete frame at the side of my mum’s property. I found Daniel on Google and was impressed with some images of his work so gave him a try and we were certainly glad we did. Daniel takes pride in his work and you can clearly see this in the end result. We will certainly use Daniel again @ White Tree Joinery.
I'd just like to say I was extremely impressed with the work Daniel and White Tree Joinery as a whole provided for me. I was in dire need for a joiner and scoured my own network of friends to find one and couldn't get anyone so then I discovered their company here on google . He was extremely polite, swift and was affordable and importantly provided A1 service! Thank you!
Appalling service. Disconnected gas hob without being corgi registered and caused gas leak. He will say it was an existing leak, no smell of gas prior to HIM disconnecting it however there was a huge leak after which resulted in the house smelling horrendously strong. Fit sink with no overflow leaving water dripping over live plug sockets, he will say I failed to pay the plumber for the initial work, I have the invoice and gave him the money in the presence of my partner, which makes him either a liar or thief or both, the plumber is not pursuing me for any monies owing. He refers to a plasterer doing 'more work than agreed' the plasterer came on my understanding he was doing the whole kitchen. Instead Daniel had only asked him to 'make good' where tiles had been, yes I challenged this and asked the plumber to do the whole kitchen and agreed a price with him. Again this was paid in full directly to the plasterer on completion, again he is not pursuing me for any monies owing and again both me and my partner inspected the completed job prior to paying. Interestingly on the original quote, Daniel quoted me £600 for the plasterer and plumber. The plasterer confirmed the work Daniel asked for was£80 and the plumber was £250. What was the additional £270 for? He recommended a 'self levelling floor' he purchased on my behalf, in less than a week the floor cracked and lifted, on moving it he had left large pieces of cut offs underneath. Again he alleges I wanted it laying quickly and he advised against this. HE physically however returned laminate I purchased insisting I bought his advertised product. Again I have an email of confirmation of sale he sent when HE purchased the product, I would say if a tradesman is as he alleges advising against it, why buy it for the customer and fit it ... surely if the tradesman knows the consequence of an incorrectly fit floor or inadequate sub floor they would not want the comeback from it. He also advertised this to me as self levelling floor, having now spoken directly with the company they have confirmed it is not self levelling and requires underlay. I have messages from Daniel evidencing I queried this with him and him reassuring me I did not need it. I followed Daniel's advice to my peril! He cut a leg over an inch short, and drilled holes incorrectly on a door. He alleges I agreed to pay for these replacing. Why on earth would I? These were his errors. Just does not make sense. PInths not scribed professionally, totally broke brand new washer face resulting in my having to get a new one, fit washer to hot water inlet, he will say he is an 'experienced tradesman' and would not make this error, this was not something I discovered but identified by an independent tradesman when replacing the washer Daniel broke, he also broke the water inlet valve, fit butler sink without sealing the worktop edges, he will say sticking laminate edging is sufficient to prevent water getting in and damaging the worktops, Google this and seek advice from experienced kitchen fitters as I have, Wren are one company who clarified this is not an appropriate method to use. He left exposed brickwork next to the sink. Fit upstands incorrectly cutting them short, doors not flush, cupboards cracked, oven hood not fixed correctly. Much more. Appalling service. Stay away! Abandoned job when challenged. He will say I had a refund from the kitchen company. The kitchen company is Benchmarx, he is their customer, not me, any refunds are made to him as they only deal with trade customers. This can be checked and verified by speaking directly with benchmarx. Daniel received money from them , not me. Rogue trader and scammer. Disgusting, unsafe hazard and liability. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES I HAVE ADDED as they speak a thousand words. Daniel can as he has said to me on many occasions make 'counter allegations' which is correct even if they are lies and excuses. He cant dispute the photo evidence of the appalling mess my kitchen is in not even a month after it is fit!! And yes I sought financial resolve.. who wouldn't!!
Highly recommend Daniel for all joinery work. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Absolute asset to the company!
Great lad, Great work, great prices, 100% recommended for any joinery work, used Dan countless times now and every time he has impressed & Have some more work for him in the next few weeks!
