Fabulous staff, great food. I’m so glad I gave this place benefit of the doubt. There are disclaimers at the entrance, at the reception and few other places in the restaurant mentioning that some items are not available so no disappointment can be valid when management informs customers before they are being seated. Everything I ordered was available so no complaints at all. Food is by no means microwaved. Clearly fresh and my main arrive in about 12 minutes. No decent place would make it faster. So thought previous review are very unjustified and unfair. So please do give this place a go - they are lovely. I was very lucky to visit. As to the value for money I found them great double patty with chips and salad for £12 - very good in my books. I’ll visit again.
Robbed? Around 10 chips with my stack Burger for £13.59. Partner got Gammon steak ? for £12.89 - see photos taken before we started, - egg went to a child, you decide... Staff however were polite and helpful.
Fantastic location . Staff are super friendly We ordered the double stack burger with onion rings and the fries came as part of the meal. Fair prices but would have liked to see a larger portion of chips and onion rings. However the dou le burger was incredible. Tasty succulent and left you salivating for more. Wr are going back really soon for another visit
Hubby had a salad which cost £9.99 probably cost a pound at most to put together and no dressing he paid extra to have salmon but had a bone in the first mouthful. I ordered grilled prawns which cost £16.00 got 6 prawns so badly cooked burnt underneath and had the texture of rubber. I also had a rocket salad that was supposed to have a dressing again none so I swapped my prawns for my hubby's salmon. The staff were great offered a replacement .but we refused... just in case . So they took off the price off the meal. Which was great but we were both still hungry. Going to give that place a miss in the future shame nice pub and staff
As always brilliant service from the team with perfectly cooked steaks and ribs. Well worth the long drive to get some good quality meals with family and friends. At the time it was cold in the restaurant but when the restaurant got busy it was at a perfect temperature. We will be definitely visiting this restaurant again very soon.Food: 5/5
Popped by on New Year's Eve on our way to Hasting Aquarium. We were kindly fitted in without a booking. All staff were exceptionally friendly, food was spot on, accompanied by quick service. The children's menu had excellent choice and brilliant value for money. Wishing you all a happy new year!
I booked a table for my daughters 16th Birthday. There were 10 of us. When we arrived, there was a birthday card and a box of chocolates waiting on the table for her. I thought this was such a lovely touch. I had emailed them to ask of they would mind bringing the cake with lit candles out, after we'd eaten dinner so to find a card there when we arrived was a lovely surprise. All the staff were lovely and friendly, food was nice and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and go back.
Had an evening meal here. Staff were very attentive and polite. Food was served promptly, was well presented & tasted nice. Thanks for a lovely time! Update 9th April 2023 - Had my Birthday meal here too. Again staff were really lovely and helpful. Food tasted excellent! Really enjoyed it! Would highly recommend! Food: 5/5
This was my first experience dining in at this Beefeater with my partner, i wasn't very impressed..... I do believe in giving second chances and will revisit and review!! I always give a true and honest review so I'm giving 4, Stars as i like the place. 3, Stars for food. 3, Stars for the service 4, Stars for Atmosphere only because of the company i was with, it would have been 5 Stars but unfortunately a member of staff dropped our drinks all over the table which covered us both !!
The staff were happy and helpful and made us feel welcome from the get go. There is a choice of menu's that fit a wide range of budgets. Our starters and main course were brought out at just the right intervals and they waited for us to decide when we were ready for our pudding. A lovely experience and would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
