4 of us stayed at Whites for a girly weekend, we couldn't have had a better time, beautiful rooms and amazing service. We also ate in the restaurant and it was truly the best food we have ever eaten and the cocktails were amazing! Everyone needs to try a Raspberry Debonair.

Great restaurant, nice intimate atmosphere, been a few times now and the service has always been impeccable. Menu is quite small, five or six starters and mains, which is good as they get the dishes right, and every time we've been the food has been delicious, and for the quality of what you get it's reasonably priced.  Good drinks menu. The only issue is parking can be a bit hit and miss especially on a Saturday night as there's no dedicated car park and you have to park on a side street or in the market car park it you're lucky enough to get a place. However, that would never put me off going as once you're inside you forget about the outside world, and that's what eating out is all about.  Highly recommended.

The food was tastey, service was great. It serves a small menu of well cooked fresh food. Very impressive starters. Wide selection of drinks. The Long cocktails were very nice especially the Rasberry flavoured cocktail  If I could rate between 4 and 4.5 I would! I'll definitely go back there again and maybe even upgrade my rating to 5 stars in the future It only loses half a star for me because the portions are quite small again that's probably me being a little picky.

Went on a Wednesday evening after my girlfriend heard on radio 2's Steve Wright in the afternoon show that it had won an award for best restaurant. The food was top draw and priced low for the quality served. I had the haddock fish and chips for main. Chips were the best I've ever eaten and the haddock so fresh. Highly recommended - just wish they were located in Derby!

I first came here in sept 2016. The fillet steak is to die for. Chips are amazing. Going again tonight with the hubby.

Pleasant atmosphere, convivial hosts, excellent informal friendly service, superb food and very reasonable prices. What's not to like ?

Eat here often as a family, three generations, always have a good meal. Service is always good.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
